At Dot Black

At Dot Black is a free, shareable resource, curated by Varaidzo in 2016, exploring how blackness operates online. It collates some of the best writing on the internet about the internet.

The pamphlet explores how black folk travel through online spaces, the phenomenon of Black Twitter, the symbiotic relationship between memes and music, racial disparities in the commodification of memes and online content, and how black people have used social media to organise for civil rights.

At Dot Black features the words of Cardi B, Hannah Black, Kat Blaque, Aria Dean, Alicia Girza, Dr. Goddess, Akilah Hughes, Laur M. Jackson, Feminista Jones, Mikki Kendall, April Reign, Doreen St. Felix, Jenna Wortham and others.
